Exhibitions
Two of Columbus’ Premier Public Galleries
The Cultural Arts Center has one of the largest and most welcoming art gallery spaces in central Ohio. With regular exhibits across two galleries, we offer an ever-changing array of mediums, colors, philosophies, approaches and artistic statements.

Gallery Spaces
Individuals and groups are invited to both the Main Gallery – featuring local, regional and national art – and the Loft Gallery, primarily used to showcase student work and other local artists. Admission to both galleries is free!
Main Gallery
Featuring individual exhibitions, group exhibitions and juried shows, the Main Gallery is located on the ground floor of the Cultural Arts Center and is usually the first thing visitors see. Shows, which typically run for about a month and a half, may be collections of works of a specific medium, or a variety of mediums following a common theme.
Loft Gallery
The Loft Gallery is utilized principally for individual or two-person exhibitions by students from the classes at the Cultural Arts Center. It represents for up-and-coming artists, or those in the learning process, the opportunity to not only display their work, but learn about everything that goes into the process of coordinating a gallery show. The Loft Gallery is located on the third floor, with exhibitions there typically lasting 4-6 weeks, and is accessible by elevator as well as by stairs.
Submitting Work to the Galleries
We have different submission opportunities and guidelines for the galleries. Visit their respective pages to learn how you can submit your work for exhibition!
