NEW: Register for your CAC classes On-line!
Hurray! The Columbus Recreation & Parks Department registration is on-line! Cultural Arts Center students will register for their classes from a computer, either at home, work or right here. No more phoning in or waiting in long lines to sign up. Much less paperwork and man hours from the CAC staff. You can access this service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week! Convenience and efficiency!!
But to begin, each student must set up a personal account. We suggest you do that tody so you will be ready to log in when you want to register. Go to

STEP #1: How to Create Your Log-In Account
To create your account, go to the site above and click on the button that says “Create Account” and just follow the directions. It is very simple and should take approximately 10 minutes to complete. If you have any questions go to the Frequently Asked Questions button. Please write down or remember your Login and Password as you will need both when you go back to the same web address to register each term.

STEP #2: How to Register for CAC Classes Online
Go to: http://activenet.active.com/columbusrecparks and click on MY ACCOUNT.
When prompted enter your USER NAME (or email address if you prefer) and PASSWORD. Click on the SIGN IN box. You will now be taken to a personalized Account Options page. Look for the subheading “Other Services”.
Click on REGISTER FOR ACTIVITIES.
Now you will have access to every class the Recreation and Parks Department has available online, so you will probably want to narrow your search by finding the LOCATION drop down box towards the top of the page. From this drop down menu choose COLUMBUS CULTURAL ARTS CENTER. Below, all of our available classes will be listed by studios/medium. CLICK on the specific title you are interested in (e.g. Ceramics). If several class options are available for one class title, you may now explore each class and choose the best day and time for your schedule. PLEASE NOTE: we will no longer be using our typical class number system. Please use day and time to choose specific classes.
Click on the class of your choosing (e.g. Ceramics, Monday 1-4pm) and read over all of the available information. Once you’ve made your choice, click the box marked ADD TO MY CART.
Next you will be taken to your Shopping Cart page. If you are finished click on CONTINUE to go to the check out page where you can pay using your credit card information.
• If you’d like to register someone else for the class (you can register for a family member or friend) click
ADD ANOTHER ONE towards the right of the screen.
• If you’d like to register yourself for a second class, click on SHOW ACTIVITIES
When you have completed all of your registration choices click CONTINUE to go to the Order Confirmation and Payment Information page. Add all the necessary information.
Finally hit CONTINUE to complete your order. Print off your schedule and receipt. That’s it.
