This course is designed for the beginner or experienced artists that wants to refresh their drawing skills. Project-centered with specific assignments and instructional guidance through every step of the process, learn about the materials, crafting and styles of drawing through a series of drawing exercises starting with the still life and advancing to the human form from a model. Model fee is $10 due the FIRST class. Basic Supply List available.

Essential  Materials:	* 18" x 24" heavyweight     rough newsprint tablet  * Ebony pencil  * Jumbo compressed     charcoal (General's     1-3 sticks per pkg.)  * Vine charcoal (1-2     sticks)  * White plastic eraser  * Fine sand paper (to     clean eraser)  * Small chamois cloth     (used for blending)
Optional  Materials:	* Spiral bound Drawing     Journal  * White or neutral toned     drawing tablet  * Pastels / Nupastels  * Charcoal pencils  * Conte' crayon  * Graphite stick
